Swimming Pools
The Department of Parks and Recreation operates 33 pools in the District. Select
from the following for the location and general public swimming hours.
- Indoor Pools: DPR operates indoor pools year-round. Please note that pools may not be available to the general public during classes and other events; please contact the pool to confirm open swim availability.
- Large Outdoor Pools: Outdoor pools are closed for the season and will open Summer 2008.
- Walk to Learn Outdoor Pools: Walk to Learn pools are currently closed for the season and will open again for Summer 2008.
The following fees apply to all Pools, By Order of the District of Columbia Code 10-393.
