Takoma Aquatic Center  


Takoma Aquatic Center is national aquatics complex containing a 50-meter by 25 yard competition pool and leisure pool. Takoma hosts multiple annual swim meets and other aquatic events including the Black History Invitational Swim Meet. In addition the center offers an array of program from water exercise classes to water polo. This pool has 16 25 yard lap lanes.

Pool Schedule:

  • General Public Swim:
    • Mon - Fri 6:00am - 9:00pm
    • Sat, Sun 9:00am - 5:00pm

The Takoma Aquatic Center children's pool is now open. However, please call and confirm with Takoma management about the status of the water temperature. Temperature drops will result in temporary closures.

All DPR Aquatic Facilities will close at 3:00pm on Wednesday May 22nd for Mandatory Summer Orientation.

Takoma Aquatic Center will be closed Memorial Day 2013 (Monday May 27)
